Downtown Miami Hotels to Both Ports

Brickell to your ship in about the time it takes to finish a coffee

2-28 miles10-45 minutesFixed fare from $75

Stay downtown before a PortMiami cruise and you are almost comically close to your ship: from hotels around Bayside, Biscayne Boulevard and the Kaseya Center, the port entrance at Port Boulevard is 2 to 3 miles, under 10 minutes door to terminal. From Brickell towers like the Four Seasons, EAST or JW Marriott Marquis, count 10 to 15 minutes. You can see the funnels from half the hotel rooms in the neighborhood.

So why book a car for two miles? Because embarkation morning is exactly when short rides get difficult. Downtown on-demand pickups get lost in tower valet queues and one-way streets, and walking is off the table with cruise luggage in Miami humidity across the Port Boulevard bridge. A scheduled car with luggage help costs from $75, arrives when the valet brings your bags down, and puts you at the porter curb in minutes, first in line when check-in opens.

Downtown also works as the launch pad for Port Everglades sailings: hotels here are often cheaper than Fort Lauderdale beach properties on the same weekend, and the 26 to 28 mile ride north on I-95 takes 35 to 45 minutes. If your group is split between a Miami hotel and an FLL arrival, we can time both cars to meet at the terminal together.

Every transfer includes a driver briefed on your ship and terminal, whichever of the seven PortMiami buildings or eight Port Everglades berths it is, plus free waiting if checkout runs long. Tell us the hotel and the ship; the routing is our job.
